Our sales teams are responsible for cultivating and maintaining customer relationships based on Eclipse’s unique value proposition and by working closely with our customers to provide the best combustion solution for their application. This approach requires the efforts of the entire team. Our sales professionals work closely with engineering, service, marketing, accounting, and operations to exceed our customers’ expectations by delivering innovative products, processes, solutions, and services.
Eclipse is recognized worldwide as a leading source for industrial process heating solutions for scores of diverse markets no matter what the finished product - from cars, alternative fuels, gears, glass, cookies, the torch for the Barcelona Olympics, and more.
Opportunities within our sales function include field sales, inside sales and support, industry management, and a number of leadership roles.
Customer Service & Support:
Responds to customer inquiries, prepares quotations, takes customer orders, resolves customer issues, advises on order status, and promotes Eclipse products and services. Provides technical product support to Eclipse field sales, service, and customers.
Field Sales:
Establishes and maintains customer relationships with current and prospective customer base. Designs and sells combustion solutions and services across a wide variety of markets and customers in a defined territory. Prepares forecasts for the territory and works closely with internal departments to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Sales Management:
Manage a team of sales professionals over defined region consisting of a number of territories including budgeting, forecasting and promotional activities. Align sales efforts with short and long term commercial objectives of the organization. Mentor and train sales professionals and independent representatives and maintain close contact with key accounts in the region.
Industry Management:
Focus specifically on key industry which may include automotive, glass, metals, industrial drying, and alternative fuels. Manages and/or supports strategic direction and business development activities for the industry utilizing extensive industry and applications knowledge. Maintains close contact with key accounts and account managers to develop business relationships.
Sales professionals at Eclipse are involved in the full cycle of a variety of challenging projects with customers and other Eclipse employees from across the globe.
