There are several areas within the Operations area in which you can play a part. Opportunities include:
Manufacturing:
Manufacturing operations include machining, welding, and assembly. Working from 2D/3D blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents, we manufacture high-quality standard and designed-to-order products to meet our customer’s needs.
Logistics:
Logistics operations include domestic and international shipping/receiving, material handling, and stockroom activities. Accurately accounts for material movement and ensures all customer shipping schedules and compliance requirements are met.
Production Scheduling:
Manages the utilization of manufacturing resources to meet customer requirements. Utilizes the ERP system to plan and schedule activities for each work center. Works closely with manufacturing and purchasing to ensure adherence to production schedules and makes adjustments as needed.
Purchasing:
Orders and expedites material according to the production schedule. Works closely with manufacturing, production scheduling, and quality to ensure material is available when and where it is needed. Partners with suppliers to ensure the best overall value for Eclipse - quality product delivered in a timely manner at a reasonable cost.
Quality:
Assures incoming product meets our specifications and that manufactured product is built to customer requirements. Examines and supports remediation of quality issues. Maintains quality system and performs audits to ensure compliance with documented processes.
Operations Management:
Operations management encompasses shop floor supervision, materials/supply chain management, project management, and deployment of best practices. Manages teams, budgets, suppliers, and/or inventories to meet financial goals and customer requirements.
